We have decided to change up our normal theme day this month here at the science and health channel. Since lists have become fairly popular, we are offering up our take on the “top 10″ from Autism to Veggie eating. Some of us offered up funny, some clinical and some very personal. Later today, I’ll post a top ten list of all the top ten posts (!). In the meantime, here’s my contribution to the listmania.

Ten Random Reasons for Wanting to Have a Baby (in no particular order):

To cash in on all of those “first 100 fans age 12 and under” promos at the local baseball stadium. Where’s my bobblehead?

To justify the purchase of several boxes of Keebler’s frosted animal crackers. mmmmm, frosting.

To totally shock and surprise friends and family, many of whom have no idea of our baby aspirations. At least not until they find this blog.

To have a date for Baby Loves Disco.

To add one more (hopefully) rational, sane, intelligent person to the American voting population.

To be able to politely decline all holiday dinner requests and force people to congregate at our house and eat my cooking, not the other way ’round.

To have a reason to baby-proof the apartment, and giggle as my husband tries to figure out how to open cabinet doors and drawers.

To watch cartoons. All. day. long.

To dress someone (boy or girl) up in this.

To prove all of those people who say, “better travel/hike/camp/enjoy life while you’re young. You can’t do that kind of thing with kids….”100% WRONG.
