We have an afternoon off and my daughter has decided to give herself some pampering. She wanted to give herself a manicure and pedicure so she pulled out her Skin and Nails: Care Tips for Girls book by American Girl for inspiration.

Save an old pair of pantyhose and use them to test the smoothness of your nails after a manicure. If they snag on the hose, it’s back to the emery board for you. The last thing you want to do is scratch your little ones and all it takes is one rough fingernail.
