Her Husband Is Annoying

Living with another adult is a very challenging thing to do. Every one of us is walking around with a big ol’ bag of quirks slung over our shoulder. The trick is the find the person whose bag you can handle, the person whose quirks don’t send you running from the room in anger and/or frustration.
Tiffanie Wong is a newlywed who writes a blog called My Husband Is Annoying. Within the blog she shares her experiences with husband, Mark Joyella.

Up: A Commentary On Relationships

I just saw Disney-Pixar’s newest 3d animation film, Up and I have to say that it’s probably my favorite Pixar movie yet!  It is a sweet, yet laugh-out-loud hilarious story about an old man with the heart and dreams of a young explorer.  I recommend this film to adults more than kids because of the intensity of the emotions and the moral messages (I almost cried many times).  It explores wonderful relationships between man and wife, an old man and a young boy, and a boy and his father.

He calls it, “Taking a break.” Brett lives his life with a bunch of women; his wife, his twin 13-year-olds, and while his Grandmother does not live in the same house she does live right next door.
Today Brett told me that they were all coming down on him. The girls were cranky all weekend, his Grandma was in tears just before work, and he and his wife had a “major blow-up” first …read more

Are Americans Happily Married?

What is your opinion of the state of married life in today’s world?  Dismal?  Bleak? Hopeful? You don’t want to think about it?
Recent headlines would have us believe that the marriage of today is full of strife and adultery. The headlines are full of the famous folk, but what about the common man and woman?  Are their marriages faring any better?
