Topic: masters tournament

The Augusta National Golf Club, home of the Masters Tournament, has finally admitted women. You know, only a mere 40 years after Title IX and 112 years after the first female athlete (a golfer, incidentally) competed in the Olympics. About damn time, boys’ club, about damn time. The first women who’ll have the privilege of putting at the club are former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice and South Carolina businesswoman Darla Moore. More »
