Look for Free Events Over Memorial Day

If you’re wondering what on earth you’re going to do with the kids on a three day weekend, you may want to take a look at your newspaper’s events section. Over the Memorial Day weekend, there are quite a few free family friendly events in my area and our problem isn’t finding something to do. It is deciding which of the many events to choose from.

Surprise Visit from Grandma

My mom called me last Thursday and said, I’ll be there tomorrow, we’re flying in to surprise Mother [hers] for her 85th birthday.

We had a great weekend hanging out with our large extended family. I love a bonus visit with Grandma!
