There&#8217;s one other food entry I&#8217;ve spotted: DNA Talk marvels on the medicinal benefits of coffee, pretty much what I have enumerated in a previous entry.
What role genetics play there, however, was not explicitly mentioned. You&#8217;ll have to dig deeper and read the linked post which discusses the genetics of caffeine metabolism. Apparently, coffee drinkers that are slow metabolizers of caffeine are at greater risk of heart attack.
