Serious Help for Cluttered Folks

Having always been sort of tidy and really organized, it’s hard for me to imagine being any other way. Trust me, I have faults, but messy and disorganized; those aren’t my issues.
Thus until recently, I had never heard that there are actual groups for cluttered folks. Yet, there are. If you’re in a serious state of clutter, and can’t get unstuck, try visiting one of the following organizations:
Messies Anonymous
Clutterless Recovery Groups
Clutterers Anonymous (CLA)

You hate sending birthday cards, but do it anyhow.
You hate your job – it just stresses you out (this is a biggie obviously).
That mistake you made five years ago.
Doubts you have about your abilities.

One way to banish mental clutter

Last week I posted about mental clutter. We’re going to be taking a closer look at this issue this week. I thought I’d kick that off with a fun way to relieve stress.
This post: Screaming Mimi To the Rescue – is from my little sister’s blog. Yup we both blog. This post is perfectly timed for our week of mental clutter issues, because it’s a nice (non-violent), sort of silly way to deal with your issues. So, even though my sister is a messy middle kid, she’s smart about mental clutter.

Get Rid of Mental Clutter

Like stuff crowding your house, stuff crowding your mind is no good either. In fact, the more cluttered your mind, the harder it is to actually keep your living spaces clutter free. You can’t concentrate, you’re tired, maybe sort of down, and organizing sounds like no fun at all, not when your brain is cluttering up your thinking process.
That said, it’s due time we took a good hard look at mental clutter. Not that your’s truly is a therapist or anything, but I do know this much; mind clutter is lame and there’s few reasons to keep it around.

Now mental …read more
