Spending time in your child’s classroom
This is interesting: Rep. Rodney Hubbard, D-St. Louis, is sponsoring a bill that would require employers to give employees four hours of paid leave every month – six days a year – to spend in their child’s class.
I can see where it would open up a whole can of worms for many reasons: can you mandate classroom involvement, how would the success be measured, what do teachers think about it, etc.
