At first I was a little confused by Zigloo. I couldn’t quite figure out what the site was up to. Now I’m pretty sure that it’s a real architect site, headed up by Keith Dewey. There are some impressive designs happening at Zigloo, but what drew me to the site was the Lego work, which is likely what confused me in the first place; guess I figured that the site belonged to one of those Lego geniuses we sometimes see here.

Flamenco y arquitectura

We’ve been looking at all things treehouses; but today a little treehouse break. I’ve got one new design from the always fab Antonino Cardillo, and later some contests to tell you about.
But first Cardillo. He sent me some shots of his House of Convexities near Barcelona – and like all his work, this house is amazing.
It’s so unusual for the landscape. Very offbeat. I love how, from this view, it’s in line with the range. That’s pretty cool. Along with the photos Cardillo sent his own description; which is really neat, so let’s look at that…

The Take Out Menu of FlatPak Homes

We haven’t seen much prefab recently, but we should. Although it’s not normally favorite type of home, I’ve been having these new found feelings for prefab lately. That said, I think we should visit with FlatPak; I mean, if you’re going prefab, why not order from someone who makes it as easy as ordering a pizza.

Antonino Cardillo’s Vaulted House

Well, Antonino Cardillo, an Offbeat favorite, sent me this back in February, but some email confusions about location were lost in translation. Hence the me not posting it until now. I’m posting it now because I noticed, or rather Cardillo, pointed it out to me that it’s now posted at WAN. The WAN post has location and typed up all the text regarding this cool house.
