While it is no secret that I do not vote Democratic I am old fashioned enough to believe that you work to support those in authority as much as you can without compromising your values and ethics. 

 
Yesterday, I got wrapped up in a mess, actually cleaning one up. But it was all worth it at the end after I ran across a couple of old photos.

Yesterday was my birthday. I don’t generally care to make a big deal about it; it’s just one of those things. So, when Kerri asked me what I wanted to do, I thought on it for a couple days and eventually settled on grilling with the family. Just a quick post to say “Thank You” to Kerri, and to wish others many years of joy.

She invited me to share my side of the story, so here it goes.
I’m on Day 6 with the kiddos. Things have been going very well, but I’m ready for Kerri to get back in so many ways. (Get your mind out of the gutter.) So, as you astute readers may have surmised, today is our 10th wedding anniversary. 10 years. It’s no record, I know, but quite significant for us, nonetheless.
I woke up thinking, “10 years ago today, at this moment, I was….” and went on from there. I thought about posting along those lines, but really, how boring would that be for you? Exactly.
