One of things I’d like to start here in Bliss Tree’s Parenting category is to feature blogs of moms that I admire. I admire them on their ability to write witty and entertaining stories about mommyhood and also their ability to recount honest sharings of the highs and lows of motherhood.
For my maiden feature, I’d like to introduce Mommy Blogger for May 2009: Kristyn Maslog-Levis:

I admire them on their ability to write witty and entertaining stories about mommyhood and also their ability to recount honest sharings of the highs and lows of motherhood.

For my maiden feature, I’d like to introduce Mommy Blogger for May 2009: Kristyn Maslog-Levis:

The photo in the site’s screenshot that you can see above is a photo of her Husband and lovely 6-month old baby girl, Inara. I met Kristyn online through the Ezine called: PinoyExpats where we both are contributing writers. I was also fortunate to meet Kristyn (and fellow writer, Kat. Hi Kat!) in person on our family’s visit to Sydney in September 2007.

So what I do love about Kristyn’s blog? I love the stories she shares regarding the joys of motherhood. But it’s not just the joys of motherhood that Kris shares. Kris also shares discoveries about herself as she journeys in this life of mommyhood. I for one can’t help but go back to her blog and read what she has to say.

Her photos (which are incredible! Kris is a talented photographer!) of Inara and her family tell a story without the need for words sometimes.

Love, love Levis Genes!

Won’t you come with me for a bit while I go Blog Tipping? Today I’m going to pick three parenting blogs at random (well, kind of random – I’m going to check them out for quality content of course) – but they will be blogs I’ve never read before and I will introduce them to you here.

Today, I’m going to be introducing a new monthly feature that I hope you’ll enjoy here on SuperNanny Rules.

Won’t you come with me for a bit while I go Blog Tipping? Today I’m going to pick three parenting blogs at random (well, kind of random – I’m going to check them out for quality content of course) – but they will be blogs I’ve never read before and I will introduce them to you here.

First up is Blonde Mom Blog – Blonde mom is 37-years-old and can be found mothering two little girls. She claims to wait too long between root touch-ups – I can related and always removes her makeup at night – which is more than I can say for myself.

Blonde Mom began blogging in 2005 as a creative outlet. Blonde mom shares her humorous experiences on parenting and marriage – all while remaining dedicated in her personal quest for the perfect margarita.

Next up – White Trash Mom – If you’re looking for a nice humorous way to break up your day and see just how not to parent, check out White Trash Mom. If you must go bearing gifts, be sure to grab a box of hostess ding dongs and a 2 liter of coca cola.

Lastly – Rockstar Mommy – This one’s been around for a while and though I do remember reading it quite a while back, I do have to admit, Rockstar Mommy is one of those guilty pleasures you’ll find yourself reading obsessively if you’re not careful. Rockstar Mommy admits she’s not really a Rockstar but to spend a day reading her blog, it becomes very clear that she’s found her true calling as a very entertaining writer.

I hope you’ll enjoy checking out these three blogs as much as I have. Be sure to check back here the first of each month for more Super Nanny Rules Blog Tipping
