I’ve always (silently) told myself that, should I ever have a wedding, I will definitely cut costs on the decorations, music, photography — even the dress — in favor of great food. I’m guessing Charlene Wittstock hardly had to bargain with her budget when planning her wedding to Prince Albert in Monaco next week, but she’s my kind of bride when it comes to catering: She’s hired celebrity chef Alain Ducasse (you may be familiar with one of his three Michelin triple-star restaurants) to prepare a multi-course gala dinner made with local, sustainable, ethical food. Would that I were one of Albert and Charlene’s 500 guests. More
