While reading about some of what is going on with the very public Gosselin divorce – Jon is allegedly taking money, Kate is allegedly hiding money – I’m reminded of how quickly things can blow up and out of control when a marriage ends.
My divorce wasn’t of interest to anyone not immediately involved with it. My family was happy. My husband and I were not. His family?  You’d have to ask them for their opinion – I no longer am in contact with any of them. Divorce is the most crazy-making thing I’ve ever survived.

Outbreak of H1N1 This Fall

A recent survey found that six in 10 Americans believe there will be a serious outbreak of H1N1 this fall or winter.
The Harvard Opinion Research Program at the Harvard School of Public Health conducted the national poll on H1N1 on June 22-28, 2009.

Parents are more likely to believe an outbreak will occur. Among concerned parents, 43% said that they or someone in their household would likely lose pay or income and have money problems if schools were closed for two weeks because of H1N1.
