Don Herbert, better known to most as Mr. Wizard passed away yesterday at the age of 89.
Mr. Wizard was one of those guys who bridged the generation gap in geekdom. I was a big Nickelodeon fan as a kid, and “Mr. Wizard’s World” was one of my favorites… that and “You Can’t Do That on Television,” cuz slime is cool.
