Jennifer and Sculfor were first seen in public together enjoying a romantic candle-lit dinner two weekends ago at Santa Monica’s One Pico restaurant in the Shutters Hotel. Sculfor, 36, has modelled for a number of major fashion houses, including Jean Paul Gautier and Christian Dior, and has also starred in a Levi’s advert. Jennifer, 38, has been single since splitting from Vince Vaughn last October. She was previously married to Brad Pitt who is now in a long-term relationship with Angelina Jolie.

Jennifer Aniston dating Paul Sculfor is juicy news for most esp when you add that he just happens to be one of the guys she’s currently dating. Aniston is a celebrity and people will want to know what’s going on in her life even if to another normal person would be considered private.

The context of this post was presented in a somewhat negative way esp when the fact the Sculfor was profiled (construction worker turned model) and it even quoted this particular statement, “One pal told Us Weekly magazine: ‘I wouldn’t say he is her boyfriend. Jen is dating a bunch of guys. She has met a few really great, nice guys.She is just seeing what’s out there.’”

I guess for a celebrity like Aniston to go out and truly date — exploring her options — is something that would be ear-marked and reflect “negatively” on her image.

Makes me wonder, what’s wrong with her dating different men when a lot of other women do the same thing? Is she subject to some social norm that us “normal” people are excused from?

So What if Jennifer Aniston is Dating a British Hunk?

Hmmm.

I guess for women who take on this kind of thinking when it comes to relationships are not-so-into monogamy, eh? ‘Does make you think, though. Why is having two boyfriends better than one? Of course, it’s a rip-off of the saying, “Two heads are better than one” and takes on a similar if not the exact, same concept. But they were refering to idea generation during meetings, plannings, or brainstorming sessions.

• Is it because each guy provides something that the other can’t? Is it to reinforce the girl’s attractiveness? Or it’s simply because the girl knows she can have two or more, even?

Perhaps there’s something about getting a taste of different types of “relationships” since the girl will be getting “inputs” from two different guys. Like in meetings, if ideas would come from just one person, the outcome may turn out to be not as exciting as getting ideas from two or more “heads”, to accomplish a goal.

For the girl, the idea of having just one boyfriend seems unsatisfying — quite similar to multi-dating or men having more than one girlfriend. I guess, this kind of thing is not limited to men, huh?

Now, it also peaked my curiosity when it comes to the guy’s side, are there guys who agrees to this kind of a set up? If yes, I’d like to know why. [I want to put an exclamation point at the end of that statement but decided not to --- egad.]

Fun Tip For The Dating Don Juan

I guess that’s what dating is actually for — options. It creates an ideal scenario wherein you get to try out something until you find that one thing that suits you best.

However, it doesn’t always work out that way, right?

I’ve never been in a situation wherein I’m actively “seeing” several people at one time. More often than not, I always end up seeing just one person and that’s that. I’ll find out after a date or two if it’s not going to work out. So, the idea of individuals who actually can date more than one person at a given period of time is beyond me.

I guess that’s how I define multi-dating. Of course, it’s different when you have accummulated a lot of first dates over time. Even if it meant you have indeed dated more than one person, for me, it doesn’t fall under this particular practice. That occurence is actually quite normal. It’s simply — dating.
