I’m offering a copy of A Glass Full of Tears, Dementia Day-By-Day by June Lund Shiplett as a giveaway here at Alzheimer’s Notes as part of the Bloggy Giveaways Carnival.

Liz Lewis wrote a post recently about Alzheimer’s and its effect on a couple’s marriage when one is diagnosed with this disease. She referred to an informative article at CNN.
An excellent book, written from a wife’s viewpoint, about caring for her husband who developed multi-infarct dementia, is A Glass Full of Tears: Dementia Day-By-Day. Written by novelist June Lund Shiplett, this personal diary account gives you insight into what happens to a marriage when this or similar disease strikes one of the partners.
You’ll realize you’re not alone as you read June’s day-by-day account.
