Sweet Little Castle

Is this maybe one of the cutest little castles ever? I think so. Don’t think I’d live there. If I was ten years old maybe, but not now. Still, it’s pretty darn adorable. Mushroom Castle was built by David Lee in East Boothbay, Maine.

Offbeat Worth Revisiting: The Mushroom House

Back in the old-school Offbeat days Kevin Humphrey covered the The Mushroom House. However, for those of you who don’t spend your days combing the archives this home is worth a look.
I personally love the Mushroom House. Located in Whistler, Canada it was started way back in the 70s. Not only is the Mushroom House crazy offbeat but the whole home is centered around what the interior of a tree might look like. Zube, the artist behind this masterpiece did an exceptional job.
