Babylune prompted me to post about adoption fees after her post about baby expenses. How much do you think it costs to give birth to a baby in the US? About $7500. Compare that to adoption and you biological families have it pretty “financially” easy (if all goes well, that is).

Unfortunately, that is what is going to happen for between 3,000 and 5,000 families in the United States. If their adoptions are not finalized before January 1, 2008 their adoption process will officially halt.

In the last few days I have run into a handful of bloggers and people who are not up on politically correct adoption terms, including myself. I often find myself saying we are getting another child. Why? No idea. But it is certainly not PC.

I admit…I’m toy crazy.
I’ve been working really hard on my lead free toy issues over at My Two Boys. So hard, in fact, that I’m exhausted.
