We’re right in the thick of football season, and baseball season is coming to a close, so it’s the perfect time to get some delicious snacking in (and what better excuse?).
Nachos seem to be the penultimate sports-watching snack. Pretty much the only constant are tortilla chips and cheese, with other toppings ranging from beans, chili, chiles, sour cream, tomatoes, quacamole — the list goes on! Healthier Chorizo

When I was growing up, I spent a lot of time at my Grandma’s house. One of her specialties was tacos and sometimes she would prepare Chorizo, in addtion to ground beef. I was only allowed a little of it and I loved it. Spicy, red, weird – it was interesting.
My kids had never had the Chorizo experience until I picked up some vegetarian Chorizo last week. I forgot to take a picture of it, but this is similar. The brand that I bought came in sausage-like tubes.

How to Keep 50 Pounds Off Without Gaining it Back
Let’s face it. We all can lose weight, but the trick is keeping that weight off. I tend to do the unhealthy thing and bounce around from season to season. I can lose up to 20 pounds in a season but then I gain some or all of it back 6 months down the road. So what’s the answer? Probably we already know the answer and that is just keep doing what you normally do when losing weight but ALL the time. Well of course. But it isn’t as easy as it may sound.
