If you have a vanity vs. free standing sink, you’ve got ready storage space under the sink. The problem with this is that most under the sink spaces are way under utilized. First of all, one side is usually taken up with visible and annoying pipes, and the other side is tall, but has no shelving system. The last issue are those really long drawers in bathroom vanities. They’re usually long, but not so wide, and few come with partitioned storage.
The best thing about storage solutions for under the sink or in a drawer is that you can buy ugly …read more

It’s appropriate for showers or as an above the tub solution. Available at Pottery Barn. (I didn’t even know they had bath goods!)

As small as they are, I swear kids come with more junk and gear than any adult I’ve ever met. Once I had my son, my household clutter grew a lot faster, and staying on top of it became more of a challenge. That said, there are some excellent kid-sized bathroom storage solutions around that will help to keep your life a little less cluttered and a lot saner; at least during tub time.

General ideas for decluttering your bathroom:
While I’m a big fan of consolidating bathroom products to save space, I know that advice like this is hard for some to swallow. Many people love their beauty products. To cut bathroom clutter and cleaning down to size try this plan:
Gather all necessary bathroom cleaning items in one place, and keep the supplies tidy.
Keep up on medicine clutter – once a month quickly go through and toss expired meds. Make sure you don’t toss them inside though; your little ones might find med bottles in the garbage and think it’s candy. Place expired medicine into outdoor bins.
Group like items together – no matter the item. Make a first aid shelf or kit, place hair care in one place and face care in another. If you’ve got the room, keep …read more
