This is a very sweet and sad video that shows kids and their drawings about diabetes. I got diabetes as an adult, and I cannot imagine getting it as a kid. They go through so much. Take a look at this video.

I thought I would share a funny little story with you. My 3 girls often fight over who gets to prick mommies finger and who gets to slide the strip in the glucometer. I guess I have always been honest with them and explained to them why mommy can’t always eat what they are eating and what can happen if I do. And as they have gotten a bit older, they are starting to understand diabetes more and ask questions.

I Am Sharing A Touching Video About Juvenile Diabetes

Manny at Tu Diabetes.com had a video posted last week that left me in tears. It is a short “film” that shows just how strong the children and families that live with juvenile diabetes are every day of their lives. Diabetes is something that they treat but can never cure. For a child, it becomes the norm. But that makes it no less scary, overwhelming and encompassing.
