The Word “No”

How many of you hear the word, “no” from your kids? Probably not many right? Well this has become our son’s newest favorite word, that and meanie head. That last word was learned after his older sister (age taught it to him. Both words I really HATE, but since both get me to say hey don’t say that he seems to say them both even more. Desensitization of the Word No

A lot of parents are quite familiar with saying “No” to their children over and over again. Sometimes it becomes a routine of “No don’t do that.” “No stop it.” “No get away from there.” “No get down off that.”
These commands desensitize the word “no”.

Saying No for No Apparent Reason

Happy Saturday everybody! Here is a question for all you parents out there to think about this weekend. Is telling your child “No” wrong if you have no other reason to say it other than just wanting to say it? Here is a better way to look at it.
