When Gayla first introduced the idea of Non-Couples here at Dating Dames, it created an avenue for the readers to interact with us and with each other. It’s a great thing to learn through each others experiences and my wish is for it to continue on.

“Just Friends”

I’m noticing that it’s becoming quite popular these days [well -- at least, in my country] that some individuals who are non-couples say that they’re “just friends” even when it’s just pure crap. I mean, who are you kidding? Why be a hypocrite and say “we’re just friends” when in reality you both like each other to the point that both of you spend that much quality time with each other that everyone else may consider it anything but platonic. Heh.
I think it’s silly.

When Gayla shared her non-couple moment in a previous entry then invited us over at the b5media community to do the same, I knew I couldn’t and wouldn’t turn her down. I like telling stories, you see.

We all know them and in many cases it’s a real love/hate relationship.  They are TV’s most notorious non-couples.  They are the two that make you curl up in front of the television each and every week, just to see what transpires between these two flaming idiots that just don’t ever seem to hook-up.  They’re the best of friends, the worst of enemies – but they are our addictions.
