The iconic writer Nora Ephron died at age 71 last night, in Weill-Cornell/New York-Presbyterian Hospital. It appears that she had a particularly aggressive case of leukemia, but as Ephron wasn’t open about her health leading up to her death, there have been various reports of her illness since last night, but her doctor confirmed with CBS that she died of acute myeloid leukemia, one of the most aggressive of the four types of leukemia.
