The Cascade Brewery Company is Australia’s oldest brewery, dating back to 1824.
Nestled in the rolling foot hills hills near Mount Wellington, daily tours are offered of this still operating brewery.
In 2008, Cascade introduced a new lager, Cascade Green, a 100% carbon offset product that reduces Greenhouse gas emissions during production by featuring 100% recycled carton , biodegradable vegetable-based inks and light weight glass.

The Richmond Bridge is the oldest road bridge in Australia, built in 1823. It was erected using convict laborers who hand built the four sandstone arched bridge spanning the Coal River on Tasmania, the Australian island south east of the mainland, or “Tassie” as it’s called by the locals.
