Apparently Octomom has signed for her own TV reality show. Jon and Kate appear to be splitting up. Because of the reality show experience?
What does this do to the children because their parents or parent desire to make everything about their lives public? Of course, there’s appeal in the money offered and other spin-off deals. Some parents would say there’s no difference making a living this way than going off to a job at an ofice, a store or factory.
However, are the parents sacrificing their kids for money in these “reality” cases? In …read more

If a judge agrees, come September 1st, Nadya Suleman (the “Octomom“) will begin filming a reality series. A judge is needed to sign off on the pay for each of her 14 children, who will earn $250 per day to star in their mom’s show. The children are expected to earn $250,000 over three years.
A production company out of Europe, Eyeworks, is behind the deal. You might not have heard of Eyeworks, but you’ve definitely heard of their TV credits: “Breaking Bonaduce” and “The Biggest Loser.”

The more we hear about the Octomom, Nadya Suleman, the more twists and turns her story has. The latest is that she has confessed that she coerced the sperm donor into freezing his embryos and fathering the older six children she has. Now, she’s on-camera confessing to having regrets.
Take a listen:
So now people are wondering why she would regret doing this publicly, and they think it’s because she possibly wants the father of these kids in her life. Perhaps she regrets doing this alone. Perhaps she wants some help. Or maybe she’s really in love …read more

Really, does it surprise anyone that Nadya Suleman, otherwise known as the “Octomom” is getting a reality show? If all the things we find objectionable about her situation (like being unemployed and using invitro to get pregnant when she’d already had six kids) weren’t there, just the fact that she now had eight babies at once would have probably given her a reality show. We seem to be fascinated with multiple births – just take a look at the show Jon and Kate Plus Eight.

The “Octomom” (Nadya Suleman), has us talking about a lot of things these days relating to babies and childcare. Now, new research suggests that have multiple births can increase the mother’s risk of postpartum depression.
Researchers did not get into the specifics of why this happens, but with multiple births I’m sure the stress of handling so many babies at once certainly can add to things.
The study was out ” April 1 in the journal Pediatrics.” With Octomom in the news lately, it brings this information to the forefront. Postpartum is a serious disease and new moms should …read more
Nadya Suleman Fires Baby Nurses

Nadya Suleman, otherwise known as the Octomom, has fired the nonprofit group of nurses that were helping her care for her 14 children.
Is it just me or is this story more and more disturbing the more we find out about this situation?
The nurses are from a group called Angels in Waiting, and were helping Suleman without cost to her. But apparently that wasn’t good enough for the Octomom, because she felt they were “spying on her” and she canned the lot of them.
And this hysteria is with only four of the octuplets at home! She still has four …read more
Should Women have to Limit Embryos?
Since Nadya Suleman gave birth to octuplets January 26 people all over the country have been debating whether or not her doctors should have implanted so many embryos. The debate has actually become a national medical issue: one that the government would like to address.
Republican Ralph Hudgens, a state senator in Georgia has proposed legislation that would allow no more than two embryos to be implanted at a time in a woman younger than 40. For women older than 40 the legislation would limit the number to three.
Seriously?
I know that the “standard” is usually two-three embryos and any more is …read more
