A Greeting, an Advice & a Question on Easter

Happy Easter to everyone who’s celebrating this holiday!
I wish I can dish out some tips on “Easter” dates but I’m afraid I don’t have any. Funny, I just remembered asking my mum a couple of days ago on whether people get married during the lenten season, more specifically on a Good Friday, Black Saturday or an Easter Sunday. Lonely Bloggers Personals

Just when I’d thought I’d seen just about every niche’ possible in the dating arena, along comes one that makes me smile!

It seems a few others had the same idea!
The marketing for this site should be relatively easy and could really take off if they plan and play their cards just right!
Check it out!  They’re calling all Lonelybloggers …read more

Guys over 40 find dating daunting, discouraging

Second chances at love don’t come often when you hit your 40s.
That’s what many single men in that age group are finding out. Dating now has become a challenge compared with when they were in their 20s.
John Drysdale, 46, divorced in 2001. He says finding someone his age who is educated, single and ready to settle down is a rare thing.
Drysdale turned to Table for Two, a dating service agency, to help him get his game back.
“It helped save me a lot of time because the people they match you with already met the bulk of my criteria,” he says.

New online dating site with a fresh new concept

What attracts you to dating online?

We often hear the negative stories associated with meeting people online, but rarely do we hear what drew people to the net to begin with – or furthermore – the positive experiences that so many have had.
In my own personal experience, I’ve had very positive and uplifting encounters during my single years and feel that I’ve made wonderful friends I would have never met had I not begun looking for love online.
Whether looking for love online or simply dipping your toes in the social networking waters, we’d love to hear your personal reasons for exploring the online possibilities of meeting others.  Consider …read more

Behind TheBadge: New Jersey Police Officer Forms Single’s Website

Officer Ken Bachman, an eight-year veteran, launched TheBadge.org earlier this year. Currently the only dating site on the Web catering exclusively to emergency service workers, TheBadge.org is free to users and offers a number of useful features.
“I first developed the idea for the website by listening to co-workers telling me horror stories of broken-down relationships and failing marriages,” Bachman said. “Much of this was due to the odd shift work and job stress the police officer was bringing home.”
Bachman tells the story of a Camden, New Jersey, police officer whose job in the most violent city in the United States …read more
