<p>This is a very cool way to allow your kids some independence, while still not having them holler for you every four minutes about where the shirts are located. I had a set-up like this when Cedar little, and he couldn&#8217;t remember where his stuff went, and it really helped. He&#8217;d glance at a label and know right away what was hidden behind the dresser drawer.<br />
I also used to use a system like this on toy bins &#8211; so we had a picture of a Lego on the Lego bin, Hot-Wheels on the car bin, and so on. If you actually write the words, as opposed to just using pictures, it&#8217;s a nice way to let your kids see words as well.</p>
<p>When I did this project I used ribbon to tie the labels on, but I like this idea with the little rings better &#8211; more sturdy.</p>
