Tidy Tuesday – Clean the Pantry for a Move

The keep pile was neatly boxed up and labeled and then placed in a dry area out of the way. The What was I thinking pile was sorted into “Doesn’t Alice eat …read more

Make a List and Check it Twice – Motivate Me Monday

With Christmas right around the corner and a bazllion things to do, I wanted to make this Motivate Me Monday post about making a list and checking it twice. I can’t stress enough how important making lists are. When you have everything that you need to do written down, it makes a world of difference.
I did this exact thing this morning. My family and I are leaving for that whirlwind trip to Colorado that I’ve mentioned and I have so many things to do that my head is spinning. So, I started off the day making a huge list of …read more

A Note from Declutter It!

Just a little quick note to let all of you know that I am going back to my weekly topic posts. After stepping away from it for awhile, I missed it and realized what a great thing it is for me to have a certain topic to write on on a specified day. I also have received some emails that said “Bring Motivate Me Mondays and the others back!” Sounds good to me!
For those of you that are new and have no clue what I am talking about, lol, here is a list of my Monday through Friday topics:

Do you have items in the backseat of your car sliding around everywhere? Keep an over-sized tote bag to store loose items in. Empty it a few times a week or when it starts to get full.

Always keep a gym bag, filled with the necessities, in your car or at the office. Keep items like a lock, tennis shoes, workout gear, water bottle and a sports bra. This way, if you get the urge to work out or you find some time to squeeze it into your busy schedule, you will have everything you need right at your fingertips!
