Classical music announces Ottawa newborns

If you’re visiting the Ottawa Hospital, in Ottawa, Canada, as you hear the intercom in the background paging different doctors or calling emergency codes, you may just hear the tinkling of Johannes Brahm’s lullaby every so often. The hospital has begun playing 12 seconds of the lullaby whenever a baby is born in the hospital – twice if twins are born.
