Pry your kids away from the computer and try to do an outdoor activity with them.
Now that summer is just around the corner, if you have access to a boat and some good old ’sea biscuits’, why not go sea biscuiting with your kids? This is a favourite past time of my daughter and her cousins as you can see pictured above!
Great fun but the lake is oh so cold…even in the summer!

It’s time to wrap up the March poll.
To be honest, I don’t remember which one I voted for. I’m looking forward to them all!
Thanks for participating last month… especially the two of you in the Southern Hemisphere!
Now go vote in the April poll!

[UPDATE] Come on, folks. We’re up to 29 votes. Clear your cache and push us over the top!
[ORIGINAL POST] The end of the month is nigh, so this weekend is your last chance to vote in the poll. Let’s see if we can’t get at least 31 votes for the month. That’s only one a day peeps.
Of course the 22 F weather we’re supposed to be having tonight is making it hard to get into a spring frame of mind. Our first crocus blooms appeared today, but I’m afraid they are going to freeze overnight before we have a chance to see them.
Hang on, little fellas!

We’re less than three weeks away from Spring, and today gave us a nice taste of the warmer weather to come. Our high was in the mid 60’s F today… but we’re headed back into the 30’s for the rest of the week.
Nevertheless, Spring will be here before the month is over, so that will form the foundation for our spring poll. What Spring activity are you most looking forward to?
Remember, we love Chicago here in the Aldrich household, so Vote Early and Vote Often!
