A few months ago, I wrote a post on Keeping a Pain Diary, providing a link to an example of one. Some people, however, prefer to keep journals. Is this something that you think may help you?
A journal about your pain doesn’t have to be all about pain in a bad sense. Some people may see it as whining on paper (or on computer), but it can be a way to describe how you feel on days when you don’t feel well and on days when you feel you’re conquering your pain or finding a balance.

Over at Creative Journal, Heather Goldsmith has some good tips on keeping a journal. This past Friday, in her Freaky Friday feature, she writes about how her husband “speaks” to his back pain. She also provides you with a link on how to dialogue with your pain. You may want to check it out if this is something you think may help you.
