Here are my top recommendations for a fall shoulder season vacation.  These are listed in no particular order, and you could have an amazing time in any of these locations.

No longer the playground for the retired generation, Palm Springs has been working to cultivate a younger, hipper image.  This includes reaching out to families with the activities and attractions in the area that will appeal to all sizes and shapes of families.

Generating enough electricity to power the city of Palm Springs, California and the surrounding Coachella Valley, each windmill can generate enough electricity, (300 kilowatts) in just one hour, to power a typical home for an entire month.
