I’m being thankful about a lot of things today. I think because it is Patriot Day and I always feel a little sad for all the families who sent someone off to work or play and never saw that loved one again. Then, I think about people who are still having their lives disrupted because of a few hate filled people who think the answer to their problems is to attempt an act of terrorism. Patriot Day can be a sad day as people remember all of the lives lost during the terrorist attacks. Instead of sitting and feeling sad about what happened, I decided I’d like to think of some productive things to do to honor the lives lost.
