I recently found a pen holder that reminds me a bit of pop art, or something like that. It’s the Giant Sharpener Desk Tidy that’s available from Urban Outfitters for $28.

I like the tidy for a few reasons: it’s different, attractive and made from responsibly harvested, sustainable wood. I don’t think it’s an actual sharpener though! However, I do think it would make a nice home warming or office gift. Their Dirty Mug is also interesting, though I think I’d have trouble drinking from it…

Two more guests will be arriving late. And the toilet brush holder sends his regrets. He wasn’t feeling up to being photographed, but he does think an old straw dispenser is good storage for him.
