Maybe you’ve been reading this blog for years, and you’re wondering how it’s going to change now. We thought it was time for a little bloggy facelift and hope you like the new logo and colors. But the topics covered will still relate to everything important in women’s health, as well as things that are just too exciting to ignore.

Lively Women is a fun blog with a serious purpose. We’ll explore current research, newsworthy health stories, lots of practical advice and some offbeat topics as well. As often as possible, I’ll provide product reviews, great giveaways and informative interviews with health professionals.

Is this blog objective? (yes)

Lively Women is part of the b5media blog network. The site contains clearly marked ads, but those ads do not affect my writing in any way. In fact, b5media deals with all that ad stuff for me. I’m paid by b5media to write and promote this site. None of my opinions or choices of topics are affected by the advertising presented on this site.

When choosing giveaways for Lively Women, I’ll pick those I believe readers may enjoy and benefit from the most. I’m not paid by companies to do giveaways or product reviews. For product reviews, I will sometimes review products I purchase myself. Other times, I will accept free samples for the purposes of reviewing. But free or not, I’m not afraid to give my honest opinion.

What about informational sources?

When I’m presenting my opinion, that will be very obvious. Otherwise, I’ll always name my sources so that you can do further research yourself. I will use only reliable and highly respected sources of information. However, as the disclaimer on the sidebar reads, the information on this site is purely educational and should never substitute for information provided by your personal physician. But you know that, right?

Do I have a comment policy?

Yes. Be respectful when disagreeing with others. This isn’t some crazy talk show, so keep your language in mind. That’s not to say you can’t be passionate, but if you fill your comment with dirty words, it will be deleted. Also, please don’t comment just to drop a link to your blog post or website. If you leave a URL with your comment, readers can find you if they please.

If you haven’t done so already, get to know me better on the About Me page.
