A friend of mine is giving eHarmony another try. She’s got three men lined up who look promising. They are attractive, live relatively close, and do not appear to be cyber-stalkers. One of these guys made a comment about wanting to call her, so she gave him her phone number.

Proper Phone Etiquette
Does your teen know how to ask for somebody on the telephone? It seems like such a simple thing to do and yet many of my teens’ friends struggle with it.
Here’s the scenarios:
Our home phone starts ringing. I drag my tired butt up off the couch over to answer it. I say, “Hello.” I’m greeted with, “Hello?” And that’s that. Nothing more. No “Hello, Mrs. Young. May I speak to Keaton?” Just, “Hello.” My response is usually, “You called me. You need to tell me who you want to talk to.”

Finally! Schools out. These last two weeks have been exhausting. We’ve had the last field trips, end-of-the-year parties, final sporting events, nagging about school work and more. I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to kick back, relax and surf the internet.
Boys handle puberty differently than girls. Many people think puberty is easier for boys. After all, they don’t have periods or growing breasts. But boys have a lot of questions too. Make sure they are prepared.
