Today I did something a little different. I took my camera wherever I went, but my photos were of objects up close. Mostly the images were of trees, plants & flowers, but I also snapped pics of graffiti and walls, that kind of thing. Why did I do this? I intend to use these as background images for my visual journal pages. Instead of printing them out photo quality, I’m going to print them onto copy paper and paste them onto the blank pages of my journal.
When I’ve had a chance, whenever that is, I’ll make a montage of the images for you to see.

Of course, I’m sure other uses will come up for these images. If you have any ideas, please suggest them in the comments section. You could also share, if you like, what you enjoy taking photos of. Do you use any of these images in your visual journal or any journal? Do you use photography at all in your journal?

Please feel free to share your thoughts on this or any journal related topic.
