By now you’ve heard that a 38-year-old waitress from Ohio is suing the Skechers company because she alleges that their Shape-Ups toning shoes gave her double hip stress fractures after wearing them to work for five months. (Apparently, she was healthy and had no bone density issues prior to wearing the shoes; now she’s in physical therapy and has pins in her hips.)
