More on back pain – why so much? Because it’s one of the most common reasons for chronic pain in the industrialized world. People who lift and do heavy work can hurt their backs and, yet, many people who lift nothing heavier than a telephone book also hurt their back – that’s because of the constant sitting at a desk, most likely.

Can you tell me about when you first started experiencing the pain and what kind of pain it was?
I started experiencing back pain in 1995 when I was pregnant with my second child.
