My son would love to celebrate pizza all year long! It’s his absolute favorite food, and he’d eat it every day if we’d let him. Since pizza is one of my son’s favorite foods, and since October is National Pizza Month, I thought I’d put together a list of yummy pizza ideas and recipes to share with you.
One of the things I love about pizza is all the different options you have. You can change the toppings, and the crust for completely different flavors.
Celebrate with a Pizza Party, pizza cake and all.

I nearly forgot to announce the two winners of the $15 Domino’s Pizza gift cards. I have a good excuse, though – I was working to put together another great travel contest!
Our winners are:
Teresa Glazer who thought that Domino’s Green Graffiti campaign should come to Atlanta, and David, who’s hoping for Houston.
I’ve sent emails out to each of you, requesting information to get you your prize.
Congratulations!
And a big thanks to the pizza people at Domino’s for offering this prize to Blisstree readers.

There is a pizza place near my husband’s work place which he frequents during his lunch time break. Mostly on the days when there were no leftover dinner from the night before. He’s always talking about how good their Calzone is so I told him to get some pizza and wings for dinner on his way home one day.
When he called me from the place while waiting for the pizza and wings orders, he started telling me the toppings of the pizza special called Roman Delight.
Just the name alone sounds intriguingly delicious, doesn’t it? Here’s the more delicious part, the …read more

If you’re looking for cheap eats while your traveling this summer, a new advertising campaign by Domino’s Pizza may help you out.

Domino’s has launched a “green graffiti” advertising campaign in which their power-wash their “graffiti” onto streets and sidewalks. Rather than painting something on the sidewalk, they are actually removing …read more

Food Friday : Meat Lover’s Pizza

There’s a local pizza place that opened near us a few months ago called Dough Boys. It’s pretty much the pizza place we go to these days. When they say Large, they really mean it. This Meat Lover’s Pizza is HUGE. And oohhh soo good too. Pizza Hut, Domino’s, and Papa John’s are good also but their Large should be called Medium in my opinion.
I’m not much of a pizza eater actually. Unlike my son who would probably love it if we have pizza for dinner everyday. Pizza is a once a week thing in our house. It’s part …read more
Pizza Made with Sunny Goodness

Back in February, I profiled the Anderson Valley Brewing Company in Boonville, California (see here) and the 125 kWh solar PV system that they’re using to make beer with sunny goodness. Well, I just found the perfect thing to go with that solar beer – solar pizza.
Stephano’s Pizza in Mill Valley, California has been running a 26 kW solar PV system since 2004. The array covers 2600 square feet of roof space over both the pizza joint and an adjoining building and generates 80% of the business’ electrical needs. As Jason at SolarDweller points out…”I didn’t …read more
