The overwhelming favorite (among the small handful of votes) on your favorite type of junk creation is

I’m guessing a good paint job took away the grain smell. I hope, but there are worse smells.

When I asked what you thought of retail junk creations, you answered.
And here’s what was said:
Most of you who answered said that retail junk creations inspire others to see the potential in junk. That was followed closely by thinking that the creations are a good use of otherwise discarded items.
After that, only a very few of you who answered were against it since it seems to take advantage of the green movement. I try to be very careful of choosing the greenest items to feature here.
