If you’re operating a crafting business, you may be wondering if or how President Obama’s “changes” will affect yours.  Will some of the policies he’s introducing and, in some instances, already passed have a positive or negative effect?

I have a “change” poll at Home Biz Notes, where you can express your opinion.  You also can write your view in the comments section of this post or the one at Home Biz Notes.  It would be interesting to see whether you expect, or already see, a change of some magnitude.

With all the “changes” occurring since President Obama has taken office, whether you agree or disagree, you’re likely to feel some effects in your life and craft business.

Over at my Home Biz Notes blog, I’ve set up a poll, where you can express your thoughts about the changes this is bringing about or will cause in your craft business.  Since many crafters have developed an income source with their talents, they may be looking into the changes that could occur to this method of making a living.

Even if you live in another country, you may be wondering how changes in the United States could affect you.

Men are More Likely to Remarry

While it sometimes seems that women are the more commitment-minded of the sexes, it appears that it’s the other way around!!!

weddingrings1Recently, Date.com, Matchmaker.com, and Amor.com, teamed up to poll their members to see who would be willing to give marriage a second chance after a divorce.

Check out the results, when asked if they would remarry after a divorce:

Men

Yes 65.4%
No 23.1%
Only if adoption of children are involved 7.7%
Only if the couple is younger than 55 3.8%

Women

No 40.6%
Yes 28.1%
Only if the couple is younger than 55 18.8%
Only if adoption of children are involved 15.6%

There’s definitely a disparity between the sexes! One that, quite honestly, I didn’t see coming! What do you all think about these results?

So, yes, we’re nice girls, and nice girls aren’t supposed to do “that sort of thing”.  Whatev.

Some of us just aren’t prioritizing relationships right now - we have career and our own lives to work out. That doesn’t mean we don’t want some fun now and then.

And thus, we have the infamous booty call. We’ve all made them, we’ve all received them…and yet admitting to this is something of a taboo.

However, the numbers don’t lie - people’s dating patterns have changed and thousands are flocking daily for a casual, fun dating experience where they’re in control and expectations are set right up front. Where are you must likely to find a no-strings attached fun fling? Check out the results of a recent poll by onlinebootycall.com!

Here’s the complete top 10 list of cities that ranked for April:

1. New York City

2. Los Angeles, CA

3. Chicago

4. Houston, TX

5. Atlanta, GA

6. Philadelphia, PA

7. Jacksonville, NC

8. San Diego, CA

9. Columbus, OH

10. Dallas, TX

Do any of you live in these areas? I’d love your take on how true this is!

Supernanny Rules Poll Result: Do You Think Corporal Punishment Is…

Poll results are in.

Do you think corporal punishment is…

  • Never okay: 37% (29)
  • Sometimes okay: 41% (32)
  • A good form of discipline: 22% (17)

Total Votes : 78

Pretty evenly split across all three categories.

As for me, I voted “Sometimes okay,” though leaning toward “Never okay.” It is very difficult to do correctly. As a parent you must be in complete control of yourself. It can be easy to resort to corporal punishment when your angry, and that’s exactly when you shouldn’t.

So, thanks to everyone who voted. Next week we’ll have a new poll up, so I hope you’ll come back and share your opinion.
