Your Medicine Chest

As we get older we are less likely to throw things away. This was a great problem with my mother, if she couldn’t use something well maybe someone else could.
I remember going into her medicine chest to get an aspirin and all of these bottles fell out, scary isn’t it?
Upon looking at her medications, I found that some were outdated others written by different doctors, they were also purchased at different pharmacies.

Has Chantix Done You Wrong?

I am asking for your expertise and experiences tonight! Has anyone out there tried the Chantix drug to cease their nasty ol’ smoking habit? I know that with every single cardiac patient we do the whole stop smoking spiel and are now offering up a huge number of prescriptions for this “magic” little medicine.

Heart Attack Patients Need Their Medication

If your doctor has prescribed aspirin, beta blockers, or statins to treat your heart disease, have you been good about taking them? If not, be forewarned.
A new study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine has shown that heart patients who stopped taking these three drugs are three times more likely to die during the next year than patients who followed their prescribed regimen.
