My first thought relating to how pride aims at the destruction of others comes from the term “character assassination.”
Suppose for a moment that you’ve worked on a project for your company for months finally arriving at what you believe in your heart is a magnificent piece of work.
Your co-worker has also worked on a similar project and has the same feelings about his/hers.

The title of today’s Daily Reflection is Pride. Without going into detail, this reading is very appropriate for me right now! I really like what it says because it truly nails the subject and transcends pitiful and pathetic injustices.

Wow. That’s not all I have to say either… but… wow!
I am absolutely amazed this morning as a direct result of last night. Perhaps there is a small condo being erected in my gray matter
Having been given the opportunity to chair our group’s discussion meeting last night along with some time to consider a topic, I couldn’t decide between bringing up pride or tolerance. I chose pride. Wow…
