Last month I shared my printable Weight Watchers journal with you. After blogging about my terrible week last week, and sharing my goals for this week with you, I grabbed my food journal to get back on track.

I immediately remembered why I tossed my journal a couple of weeks ago. I ran out of empty pages. I had printed up quite a few of Al’s food journal pages, but I don’t like them. I find them too cumbersome to work with. I like to be able to calculate my points as I go through the day. It helps keep me on track better.

My 3-ring binder was filled with blank food journal pages I’ll never use, as well as used pages from the last month. I waffled over whether or not to keep my old, used food journal pages. I finally decided to chunk everything and start fresh. Why hang on to all those old pages anyway? My reasoning is this: I am losing weight; why hang on to old “baggage” like these pages, too?

There was a couple of things I didn’t like about my own printable food journal pages either. I sat down and did a quick edit, then printed out my new pages and I like them much better.

I thought I’d share my updated printable food journal pages with you. Try it for yourself and see if you like it better than my previous one. The main thing I did was delete the meal categories. I also added a little inspirational message at the bottom of both pages, just to keep me motivated every day.

Note: You don’t have to be on Weight Watchers to use this free printable food journal. If you’re counting calories, you could substitute Calories for Target Points.
