Long Distance: Transitions Are Difficult

In a long distance relationship there are two separate relationships: the one when you are apart and the one when you are together. The interactions between you and your long distance partner are entirely different from when you are communicating by phone to when you are communicating face to face.

The Ultimate Guide to Easy Bedtimes
Here is a list of all the possible scenarios that you might run into and I agree with all but the “Night Own”. I have experience with this on… big time. Britt from about eight years on, needed a lot less sleep than her friends and it was pointless sending her to bed at eight o’clock. My solution was to say that she had to be in her room by nine o’clock and then she could quietly play until she was sleepy. It worked for us. And yes, she had her own TV in her room.
