So, that’s why I brought my business online in a sense and write articles and tips to hopefully help you get more organized.

Sometimes though, an article or a tip just isn’t going to cut it. Sometimes you need to call in a prefessional who knows exactly how to guide you sensitively through the process.

The first professional organizer I am going to talk about today is Cindy Culpovich from Salem, Oregon. Why? Well I woke up this morning and found this news story about her.

I loved several of the quotes from the article. Here are a few of my favorites:

Professional Organizer Cindy Culpovich

I find myself doing that sometimes too. Procrastination is such a hard thing to overcome. Sometimes we just need a good kick in the pants! Okay, I won’t be that harsh, but how about some good ol’ motivation? Are you up for it? Good! We will start small and work our way up.

Here’s your challenge for the week: List the top 3 rooms in your home that bother you the most. Then rate them 1 to 3 with 1 being the absolute most annoying and 3 being the least.Now, take room #1 and list 5 things that bother you the most about that room. Is it clothes piled on the bed? Or too much stuff on the kitchen counter? How about toys covering every square inch of the floor?

Okay, is your list ready? Great! Now email them to me and we will set up a plan to turn that room into something you can walk in and be proud of. A room that works for you, instead of you working for your room. That’s the way it’s supposed to be.

I will keep everything anonymous, but I would like to track your progress on Declutter It!. Your success will motivate others. Your bad days when you said you were going to work on that room and you didn’t, will let others know they are not alone.
