Video Game Stocking Stuffers

Video games are all the rage these days. All of my kids have at least one (or five or six) video game on their holiday wish list. Over the years we’ve acquired a PS2, an Xbox and Xbox 360 and a Nintendo Wii (with the Wii being my personal favorite). That’s a lot of gaming systems (especially considering we don’t let the kids play video games on school nights). And video games make great stocking stuffers. The Evolution of a Boy’s Taste in Toys

As my kids move through the tweens, the toys are taking on a different level of priority and interest.
My son’s toy box has not been cracked open in a year.  His free time is consumed with playing hockey in the driveway, playing video games or building with Legos. Meanwhile, the Thomas the Tank Engine collection has been replaced with a love for electric trains like Lionel and MTH RailKing.
