Heart Mark Makes a Second Appearance

Remember Heart-kun, the chihuahua puppy born in Japan in May 2007 with a cute little tan-colored heart shape on its fur? Well, Heart-Kun is now a big sister after a second pairing by her parents have produced little brother Love-kun, who also sports a heart-shaped mark!
Heart-kun’s baby brother, called Love-kun, was born August 3rd at the same pet shop where Heart-kun was born and raised.
In the video above we get an extremely cute peek at Heart-kun as a puppy, hopping around crazily in her pen after she spots the video camera.

I don’t know about your kids, but my daughters love the new ABC Family show, Ruby and the Rockits. When an email showed up in my inbox about Katie Amanda Keane, one of the stars of the show, I called my daughters over to read it to them.

Hero Dog’s Cloned Puppies Make Their Debut

Do you remember Trakr, the hero dog that rescued the last survivor from the 9/11 attacks? Last summer it was announced that he would be cloned due to his heroic performance.
The beautiful German Shepherd was cloned in South Korea by Doctor Hwang Woo-Suk, and five puppies were produced: Trustt, Solace, Prodigy, Valor, and Dejavu.
The puppies made their debut on Wednesday in Los Angeles during a press conference with owner James Symington, who told ABCNews.com: “They’re calm. They’re very zen.”

Black Friday A PUP-lic Service Announcement.
I did not know that the day after Thanksgiving is was known as Black Friday — in other words the busiest shopping day of the year. Maybe that’s because, I wish that Autumn could just be about leaves and tweed. I mean come on. Why don’t we just re-label Autumn: Hallo-giving-ismas!
